Futuristic Security for Hanseatic Treasures
Berlin/Hamburg, April 2022.Störtebeker would have found this loot unassailable: Trisor is establishing its new high-security location with robotic service in the heart of the northern German city, near Hopfenmarkt. The ongoing digital transformation of banks is leading to the closure of numerous branches and, consequently, a decrease in safe deposit spaces. Starting in the fourth quarter, papers, cash, valuables, and keepsakes will be stored in one of the 5,600 safe deposit boxes offered by this independent provider, accessible around the clock.
Safe Harbor
At the heart of Hopfenmarkt 33, a massive structure made from 15-centimeter-thick steel-reinforced concrete with special alarms and a weight of over 100 tons when empty is being built. Tenants will have access to their safe deposit boxes without appointment or personal contact. A three-factor authentication system consisting of fingerprint, PIN, and chip card ensures the security of valuables from unauthorized access. Corresponding data is protected by a sophisticated tech infrastructure with crypto encryption. Inside, a robot oversees the boxes and transports them to the retrieval terminal. The 360 square meters are secured by VdS-certified security personnel both inside and outside. The location is easily accessible by public transport or car, with ample parking available at Hopfenmarkt..
Valuable Location
After completing the construction for the complex security technology, Trisor will open in the fourth quarter in the Hanseatic city, continuing its nationwide expansion. "After Berlin, Munich, and Stuttgart, we are now also present in the north of the country with Hamburg, and thus in almost all metropolitan areas," proudly reports Marco Wild, Managing Director of Trisor GmbH. "We have been able to quickly implement our expansion plans and are confident of finding banks as cooperation partners in the north as well. Such cooperation benefits all parties involved, including the bank customers."
