محمية بأسوار المدينة والخرسانة المسلحة والروبوتات
Nuremberg, April 2022. Trisor's high-security location in Nuremberg alleviates the strained safe deposit box situation in German cities. Due to their digital transformation, banks are steadily withdrawing their presence in urban areas, reducing the already limited supply of secure storage for gold, documents, and more. Nuremberg’s Old Town, with its historical fortifications, will soon enhance its security technology to a new level: Starting from the fourth quarter, the new Trisor location will provide the growing population with over 5,000 safe deposit boxes.
Medieval Charm Meets Modern Security Standards
Three hundred square meters on the ground floor of Winklerstraße 15 will soon house maximum security: The vault, equipped with special alarms, weighs more than 80 VW Golfs when empty. Behind its reinforced concrete walls, a robot autonomously handles the transport of the safe deposit boxes to the dispensing terminal. Tenants need neither contact with Trisor staff nor appointments to access their stored valuables—access is guaranteed by sophisticated identity verification.
A 3-factor authentication system, consisting of fingerprint, PIN, and chip card, ensures contactless use of the safe deposit boxes. Corresponding data is protected by a complex tech infrastructure with crypto encryption. Certified security personnel supervise the site inside and out at all times, ensuring secure access day and night. Dedicated customer parking spaces nearby facilitate a quick and safe trip to and from the safe deposit box.
Protected Environment
Trisor’s constant security measures protect physical valuables behind the vault door and contribute to a sense of security for neighbors and those in the immediate vicinity. “Our tenants benefit from the added security that Trisor brings to Winklerstraße,” says Marco Wild, CEO of Trisor GmbH. “Throughout the year, we will prepare the ground floor for all security-relevant aspects and implement a high-quality and appealing design concept.”
The need for secure storage is growing in urban areas across Germany. Trisor is expanding rapidly, opening additional locations in Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Cologne, Dresden, and Düsseldorf in 2022 alone. “Nuremberg has always been a city of innovation,” says Marco Wild, CEO of Trisor GmbH. “Our modern concept of security for physical assets should certainly be part of that. Therefore, we are very pleased to soon be part of it with our 24/7 service and to offer banks the opportunity to provide their customers with local safe deposit boxes despite the lack of branches.”
