Trisor "Dicke Pitter"ı Tanıtıyor
Berlin/Cologne, January 12th, 2023. Yesterday, Wednesday, the managing directors of Trisor GmbH christened the Cologne high-security vault with the name "Dicke Pitter." Inspired by Cologne's most famous bell, the Dicke Pitter will provide a protected space for valuable belongings. The location for the around-the-clock accessible safe deposit box facility is situated directly on the Cologne Ring and is the first of the Secure Tech company's in North Rhine-Westphalia. In attendance at the christening were 30 people from the fields of business, finance, and culture. The local audience was particularly enthusiastic about the unveiling of the vault's name.

The massive bastion made of 15-centimeter-thick reinforced concrete with special reinforcement has a weight of over 100 tons – about four times as heavy as its namesake. The opening is planned for April 2023, after the completion of construction work for the complex security technology. Reservations for safe deposit boxes are already being accepted through the company's website. Tenants will have access to their safe deposit boxes starting from March without the need for appointments and without being bound by opening hours.
A 3-factor authentication consisting of fingerprint, PIN, and chip card secures the valuable assets. The access data is safeguarded by a complex tech infrastructure with crypto encryption. The issuance of safe deposit boxes in discrete and spacious individual cabins occurs fully automatically using robotics. A VdS-certified security guard ensures maximum security on the premises at all times of the day and night. During business hours, trained service personnel are available to customers. Additionally, there is the option to purchase popular investment gold coins and minted gold bars at a preferential price at an on-site gold counter.
Historically Secure
The basement of the new location already has a security history: the Gerling Bank stored valuables in the Cologne premises. Not only does the history make the location special, but Marco Wild, CEO of Trisor GmbH, also has a special connection to the city. "I am a Cologne native myself, so I am very pleased that we have now arrived with our product in my hometown. We look forward to the opening with joy and will gladly offer Cologne residents a secure place for everything that is near and dear to them. We are also eagerly looking forward to cooperation talks with local banks and other partners.
Trisor's Emergency Power Sprinter ensures access to the safe deposit box even during a blackout
Autonomous access to one's own valuables in the safe deposit box – around the clock. To ensure that Trisor can fulfill this customer promise even when the power grid reaches its limits and the power supply falters, the company provides mobile power via an emergency generator.
This ensures that even in the extreme event of a blackout, the digitally controlled vault system continues to operate, allowing customers to access their safe deposit boxes. "Whether in Berlin, Munich, or at other locations, with our emergency power sprinter, our employees are quickly on-site wherever the power supply could be in jeopardy," emphasizes Justus Westerburg, CEO of Trisor GmbH. "It ensures supply for many days, if not weeks.
